Connection, cooperation and control are the hallmark of any dog/human relationship. See Spot Grin is proud to offer a unique approach to achieving this goal through the use of food puzzles to establish permission, focus, team work and confidence. This training system offers a practical, positive approach to learning for dogs of any age, including those who are easily distracted, overly social, or reactive to other dogs.  Make your family pet or performance dog the best he can be.  Required Material:  Food puzzles (approximately $30) must be purchased separately.

CCC Level 1

Learn the philosophy behind CCC's unique puzzle reward system and how to incorporate it into your training. Motivate your dog to work with you even when you don't have treats in your pocket by teaching him to solve two food puzzles that will be used as a reward throughout the class. Teach your dog voluntary eye contact, connection, cooperation, explicit permission and a simple relaxation technique to help him find balance. Improve your ability to read shifts in your dog's arousal and make adjustments to keep him thoughtful, productive and compliant. Discover how your body language and intent influence the dog's ability to work with you as you begin learning how to walk together on a loose leash. This is an in person, semi-private class. No more than two dog/handler teams per class.
