Teaching your dog to use his nose productively is great fun. The K9 Nose Work® training philosophy makes it even more fun by focusing on your dog's motivation to hunt in new and exciting ways than he's searched before. In addition to offering your dog a task that isn't taxing on his body, nose work is a great confidence builder, and offers your dog the mental stimulation to keep him satisfied day after day.
Intro to K9 Nose Work® Online
This structure of this course allows you to learn, ask questions and submit any video links independently via easily accessible discussion areas, while still having access to live weekly discussions with your Certified Nose Work Instructor. At the beginning of each week you'll have access to that week's lesson, and at week's end you're invited to participate in the live Zoom session scheduled during your class time.
The focus is on building your dog's desire to hunt for food indoors and in containers, and is a prerequisite to our more advanced nose work classes. You'll be surprised at how much you and your dog learn in this foundation class, which will give you the tools you and your dog need to successfully solve more challenging problems in the Intro to Odor and Continuing Nose Work classes.

Intro to Odor Online

The Intro to Odor class is for dogs who have built a solid foundation in the Intro to K9 Nose Work® class. Dogs will be introduced to birch odor, and begin to learn more advanced concepts indoors, in containers and outdoors. Vehicle searches are also introduced in this class.

Intro to Advanced Nose Work Online
This structure of this course allows you to learn, ask questions and submit any video links independently via easily accessible discussion areas, while still having access to live weekly discussions with your Certified Nose Work Instructor. At the beginning of each week you'll have access to that week's lesson, and at week's end you're invited to participate in the live Zoom session scheduled during your class time.
Dogs are introduced to anise and clove odors in this class as they develop problem solving skills with chairs, tables, cabinets, and multiple hides. You’ll learn how leash handling can improve your dog’s performance and a simple exercise you can use to have your dog searching when you’re out and about.

The Online Continuing Nose Work Program
Now you’re ready to run with the Big Dogs! Our Continuing Nose Work Program continues to sharpen your dog’s search skills, and you'll continue improving your observation and handling skills to be sure you're ready for even the upper levels of competition if you choose to trial with your dog. However, competition is not an expectation or requirement! There are plenty of folks in this class who just want to keep their dog happily searching along and this is where you do it.
